Two half squares (each 2.5 × 5.0 m), adjacent to the northern border of the previous excavation, were opened. Four complete burials were exposed in situ, c. 0.3–0.7 m below surface, and a fifth one that was mostly beyond the limits of the excavation was partially uncovered. Two of the burials were interred in cist graves and the others were buried directly in the ground, without funerary offerings or other accompanying objects. The burials belong to the Ottoman cemetery, which was exposed on the nearby Tel Tanim (HA–ESI 115:1–2), as well as in A. Musco's excavation.

In coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the excavation was concluded after the burials were exposed; their contents were not removed and the excavation did not extend down into the archaeological strata.
