Eleven ancient sites (1–11; Fig. 1) were identified in the survey area (c. 0.6×0.7 km), which included rock-cuttings in limestone and chalk bedrock, caves, industrial installations and farming terrace walls. The ceramic finds were very meager and insufficient to date the remains.

(Map ref. 23455–65/73361–73; Figs. 2–6). A quarry (c. 3 dunams), delimited by walls in the south and west (Site 2) and bordering on streams in the north and east, is located in the northeastern corner of the area. The well-preserved quarry has at least four limestone quarrying steps that are visible.
(Map ref. 23456–62/73358–64). Walls enclosing the quarry on the south (Fig. 7) and west (Fig. 8). The walls (each c. 50 m long, width c. 0.8 m) are built of limestone fieldstones and founded on bedrock. A small part of the quarry was located beyond the area of the southern wall.
(Map ref. 234626/733699; Fig. 9). A cave (c. 5×5 m) whose opening faces north is located in the northern part of the quarry. The front part of the ceiling is destroyed and blocks the opening. Remains of the quarry are clearly visible on the roof of the cave.
(Map ref. 234016/733241; not marked on the map; Fig. 10). A large cave (12×15 m) whose opening apparently faces east is located c. 10 m southeast of Cave 3. The cave’s ceiling is partially destroyed, especially in the east, and large blocks of bedrock that fell from the ceiling inside the cave. Remains of the quarry are clearly visible on and around the roof of the cave. The cave is divided in two by Wall 5.
(Map ref. 234002–5/733004–290; not marked on the map; Fig. 11). A wall (length c. 20 m, width 0.6–0.8 m) in the northern part of Cave 4, which apparently divided it into two cells. The wall, aligned east–west, is built of limestone fieldstones.
(Map ref. 234630/733589; Fig. 12). A cave (6×7 m) in the southeastern corner of the quarry, c. 40 m southeast of Cave 4; its opening apparently faced east. The cave’s ceiling is partly destroyed, especially in the east; enormous bedrock blocks collapsed from the ceiling into the cave. Remains of the quarry are clearly visible on the roof of the cave and to its north.
(Map ref. 234411–46/733634–70; Fig. 13). Three stepped farming terraces were found west of the quarry. Each terrace is delimited by a wall built of limestone fieldstones and aligned north–south.
(Map ref. 233979/733387; Fig. 14). A cave in the western part of the survey area, whose opening (0.5×1.0 m) faces south.
(Map ref. 234028/733212). A winepress located in the southwestern part of the survey area. It consisted of a straight bedrock surface that is probably a treading floor, and a hewn collecting vat (0.6×1.3 m) to its south. Two rock-cuttings in the northern side of the vat are probably channels that connected it to the treading floor (Figs. 15, 16). A bedrock cliff (height c. 1.5 m), in which rock-hewn caves are probably hewn (Fig. 17), is found to the northwest of the winepress.
(Map ref. 233966/733178; Fig. 18). A rock-hewn cistern, whose upper part is built of modern concrete.
(Map ref. 233823/733164; Fig. 19). A leveled bedrock surface (3×3 m) with four hewn cupmarks is in the southwestern corner of the survey area.
