The survey route passes close to declared archaeological sites.It extends east of Tell Ya‘oz (Fig. 1: A; HA 77:30 [Hebrew]; ‘Atiqot 52:1*–24*) to Gan Soreq (Fig. 1: B; HA-ESI 117; HA-ESI 118; HA-ESI 120); to Nahal Soreq/Nahal Rubin (Fig. 1: C; HA-ESI 118: Fig. 1:3–5); to the cluster of En-Nabi Rubin sites (Fig. 1: D) and En-Nabi Rubin (North [Fig. 1: Da], West [Fig. 1: Db] and South [Fig. 1: Dc]); HA-ESI 118: Fig. 1: 6; BASOR 153:35–38; IEJ 2:104–117; ESI 1:77–78) and to the Holot Yavne site (Fig. 1: E; ESI 2:50; HA-ESI 118; ‘Atiqot 62:21*–46*). Extending east of the survey route are the declared antiquities sites (Elevation Point 126 m, Triangulation Point A-558; Fig. 1: F); Horbat Humra (Daharat al-Humraiya [North]; Fig. 1: Ga; HA-ESI 118: Fig. 1: 8) and Horbat Humra (Daharat al-Humraiya; Fig. 1: G; HA-ESI 117; HA-ESI 121); El Jisr (Al- Daharat; Fig. 1: H; HA-ESI 118: Fig. 1: 10; HA-ESI 120); Ben Zakkay (West; Fig. 1: I; and Dhahrat el Kharab (Fig. 1: J). The route of the planned pipeline continues within the precincts of the following declared antiquities sites: Horbat Humra (Daharat al-Humraiya [Southwest]; Fig. 1: Gb; HA-ESI 121) where potsherds, roof tiles and flint were collected; and Tel Mahoz(Tell es-Sultan; Fig. 1: K; HA-ESI 118: Fig. 1: 11), where potsherds dating to the Ottoman period were gathered.
