During a development survey conducted in the western part of Mizpe Zurit (Permit No. A-3742*; map ref. NIG 22310–90/75630–45; OIG 17310–90/25630–45) a centrally located area (150 × 800 m) in a southern bend of a precipitous slope was documented.  The area was mostly forested and covered with rocks of the Bi‘na Formation. Disturbed modern farming terraces on the slope were built of indigenous fieldstones. Ancient remains were not discovered, other than a few potsherds of the Roman and Byzantine periods.
