In October 2012 a burial cave was documented south of Kibbutz Mishmar David (Permit No. A-6979/2013-04; map ref. 190778/636092), after having been breached by antiquities robbers. The documentation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by E. Klein and U. Rotstein, with the assistance of T. Winter (glass), I. Lidsky-Reznikov (drawing of finds) and C. Amit (studio photography).
