Eighteen sites (1–18; Fig. 1) were documented in the current survey, among them the remains of walls, including field walls, stone clearance heaps, architectural remains and stone collapse.

1. Field wall (preserved length c. 1.5 m) built of medium-sized fieldstones and aligned east–west; stone collapse was noted alongside the wall.

2. A curved wall (length c. 3 m) built of large fieldstones.

3. A stone clearance heap (diam. 1.5 m).

4. A wall (length c. 1.5 m) and a stone clearance heap to its east, which might be building remains.

5. A building constructed from small and medium fieldstones, oriented north–south and preserved to a maximum of three courses high. Nearby, a large collapse of stones (Fig. 2).

6. A stone clearance heap (diam. c. 2.5 m) surrounded by fieldstones. A wall (length 3 m) was documented west of the stone heap.

7. A stone clearance heap (diam. 1 m).

8. A wall (preserved length c. 2 m) built of large fieldstones and oriented east–west.

9. A large collapse of stones (diam. c. 5 m), possibly remains of a building (Fig. 3).

10. A large collapse of stones (diam. c. 3 m), possibly remains of a building (Fig. 4).

11. A wall (preserved length c. 6 m) built of fieldstones and oriented east–west.

12. Stone collapse (diam. 2 m), possibly remains of a building.

13. Stone collapse and building remains.

14. A wall (preserved length c. 1.5 m) built of fieldstones.

15. A wall (length 4 m, preserved height 1 m) built of fieldstones and oriented east–west.

16. A circular building (watchman’s hut [?]; diam. c. 2 m) and stone collapse around it.

17. A circular building (watchman’s hut [?]; diam. c. 2.5 m) and stone collapse around it.

18. A wall (length c. 2 m) built of fieldstones.

Remains of agricultural activity were mainly documented in the survey. Although it is difficult to date them, their resemblance to similar remains that had previously been discovered in the vicinity seems to indicate that these remains are part of the agricultural hinterland of the El-Ahwat site in the Roman period.
