In April 2006 and throughout 2009, three excavations seasons were conducted at Tel Mevorakh (Permits Nos. A-4741, A-5601, A-5641; map ref. 193450-550/715500-600). The excavations, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, were directed by A. Shadman. The remains date to the Iron Age IIB, the Persian and the Roman periods, including a segment of the High Aqueduct to Caesarea. Orit Segal studied the ceramic finds.
