In July 2015–August 2016, the Givʽat Olga cliff was surveyed (License Nos. S-588/2015, S-645/2016; map ref. 188868/706123). The survey, on behalf of the Geological Survey of Israel, was directed by O. Barkai and A. Ratzlaff of the Leon Recanati Institute for Maritime Studies at the University of Haifa, with the participation of students from the Marine Geoarchaeology & Micropaleontology Laboratory of the School of Marine Sciences at the University of Haifa and the assistance of S. ʽAd (drafting).
